The Silsila: Spiritual Lineage

The tarīqah was taken by the gnostic Shaykh, our master Shaykh Muḥammad Balqurshī, from the founder of the Ḥabībiyyah, the Muḥammadan Solitary, Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Sīdī al-Ḥabīb, from Sīdī Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī, from Sīdī al-ʿArabī al-Huwwārī, from Sīdī Muḥammad al-ʿArabī, from Sīdī Aḥmad al-Badawī, from Sīdī Mawlāy al-ʿArabī al-Darqāwī, from Sīdī ʿAlī al-Jamal, from Sīdī al-ʿArabī ibn ʿAbd Allāh, from Sīdī Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd Allāh, from Sīdī Qāsim al-Khaṣṣāṣī, from Sīdī Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh, from Sīdī ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Fāsī, from Sīdī Yūsuf al-Fāsī, from Sīdī ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Majdhūb, from Sīdī ʿAlī al-Dawwār, from Sīdī Ibrāhīm al-Faḥḥām, from Sīdī Aḥmad Zarūq, from Sīdī Aḥmad al-Ḥaḍramī, from Sīdī Yaḥyā al-Qādirī, from Sīdī ʿAlī Wafā, from Sīdī Muḥammad Wafā, from Sīdī Dāwūd al-Bākhilī, from Sīdī Aḥmad ibn ʿAṭāʾ Allāh, from Sīdī Abū al-ʿAbbās al-Mursī, from Sīdī Abū al-Ḥasan al-Shādhilī, from Sīdī ʿAbd al-Salām ibn Mashīsh.

The qutb al-Shādhilī also took from Sīdī Muḥammad ibn Ḥarāzim, from Sīdī Muḥammad Sāliḥ, from Sīdī Abū Madyan al-Ghawth, from Sīdī Mawlānā ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī, from Sīdī Abū Saʿīd al-Mubārak, from Sīdī Abū al-Ḥasan al-Hukkārī, from Sīdī al-Ṭarṭūsī, from Sīdī al-Shiblī, from Sīdī al-Imām al-Junayd, from Sīdī al-Sarī al-Saqaṭī, from Sīdī Maʿrūf al-Karkhī, from Sīdī Dāwūd al-Ṭāʾī, from Sīdī Ḥabīb al-ʿAjamī, from Sīdī al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī.
